Delete Your BiteCal Account

Effective date: March 30, 2026

1. How To Request Deletion

You can request permanent deletion of your BiteCal account directly inside the mobile app:

  1. Open the BiteCal app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open the Account section.
  4. Select Delete account.
  5. Confirm the deletion request when prompted.

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@bitecal.app from the address associated with your BiteCal account and request account deletion.

2. What Will Be Deleted

Once your deletion request is confirmed, we permanently delete the account and associated app data, including:

  • Account details such as your email address, display name, and authentication record.
  • Nutrition logs, meal entries, recipe data, barcode logs, and uploaded meal photos.
  • Weight logs, water intake records, reminders, weekly summaries, and related preferences.
  • Linked family or trainer-sharing data that depends on your account.

3. What May Be Retained Temporarily

Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or platform billing reconciliation. These records are restricted from normal product use and are removed when the retention period expires.

4. Deletion Timeline

Confirmed deletion requests are completed within 30 days. In most cases, the account becomes unavailable immediately after confirmation, while background cleanup finishes during that period.
